Some ideas for campaigning for 20 mph on residential roads.

  • Work with the public to make their support for 20 mph tangible. Remember that polls have shown that 80% of the public are in favour of 20 mph in residential areas.
     
  • Start a petition for 20 mph in residential streets in the ward or place where you live
     
  • Get local parish and other councillors on your side.
     
  • Get a stand at ,local events and show how 20 mph can be delivered.
     
  • Speak to local organisations, PTA's, W I's, Round Tables, Rotary Clubs about the benefits of 20's Plenty on residential roads
     
  • Work with schools to explain how 20's Plenty enables more children to walk or cycle to school.
